mastering small talk

Don’t Love Small Talk? Here’s Why It’s Important

If you’re like many adults, you probably dislike small talk. It can feel awkward, forced, or just plain boring. But small talk serves an important purpose — it’s the warm-up before meaningful conversations can begin.

In my latest video, I share strategies to make small talk feel less painful (and even useful!). For example, a simple conversation about the weather can turn into a fun chat about your favorite vacation destinations.

➡️ Click the image above to watch the video and discover how small talk can help you connect with others.

Here’s your small challenge for this week:

Start a conversation with the person pumping your gas or person waiting behind you in a coffee shop. Maybe talk to a co-worker who you haven’t spoken to in a while.

Comment and let me know who you talked to and how you got the conversation started!
